Julija Stanislava is a writer, editor, and translator from Vilnius, Lithuania. She received her B.F.A. in creative writing in the States, with a concentration in fiction and a secondary interest in creative nonfiction. Her thesis focused on Lithuanian immigrants during and after the Cold War, with an emphasis on family, womanhood, and otherness. She is currently on a year-long grant in Lithuania teaching English and doing research on the Soviet Union.
